As the name implies, Froggy Lair is one of the best places around Mabul to find the master of camouflage, the frogfish. The silty bottom is home to several species, including giant, painted, and clown frogfish, making it a favorite for photographers.

Features

A sandy slope and muck diving site dedicated to finding frogfish. Several species can be found here, often camouflaged near sponges or rubble. The site is also good for finding other macro subjects like nudibranchs and ornate ghost pipefish.
