Hin Daeng ('Red Rock') and Hin Muang ('Purple Rock') are two submerged pinnacles in the open ocean, considered the best dive sites in southern Thailand. They are cleaning stations for manta rays and whale sharks and are covered in vibrant red and purple soft corals.
Features
Two deep, offshore pinnacles. Hin Daeng is a wall covered in red soft corals, while Hin Muang is a long ridge draped in purple corals. Both are world-class sites for manta ray and whale shark encounters. Strong currents are common.
