The Hirokawa Maru (often called 'Bonegi I') is a massive Japanese transport wreck that was beached on Guadalcanal. The wreck starts shallow but slopes down deep, offering both recreational and technical diving opportunities, with holds full of artifacts.
Features
A 155m long Japanese freighter beached during WWII. The wreck is accessible from shore and offers diving for all levels, though the best parts are deep. The cargo holds contain ammunition, machinery, and other artifacts.
