The Iro is a large Japanese oil tanker and one of the most popular wreck dives in Palau. It sits upright and is largely intact, with a photogenic bow gun and large compartments that offer excellent penetration opportunities for certified divers.
Features
A 143m long Japanese fleet oiler from WWII. The wreck sits perfectly upright on the seabed. It is known for its impressive bow and stern guns, and the large kingposts are covered in coral. A classic and beautiful wreck dive.
