Jahir is a classic Lembeh muck site with a dark sand and rubble bottom. It's particularly famous for being an excellent night dive, where you can find a huge range of nocturnal critters, including the stargazer, a bizarre fish that buries itself in the sand with only its eyes showing.
Features
A black sand muck site that is particularly productive at night. The site is known for Ambon scorpionfish, wonderpus octopus, and as a reliable place to find stargazers buried in the sand.
