Lankayan is a small, idyllic island in the Sulu Sea. It's a fantastic macro destination with many weird and wonderful critters. During the season, it becomes a hotspot for whale shark sightings, and it's also a major nesting site for green and hawksbill turtles.
Features
A small island with sandy beaches and surrounding reefs. The diving features several small wrecks that are fantastic for macro photography (frogfish, ghost pipefish). It's also a seasonal corridor for whale sharks and a turtle nesting site.
