Scuba
Malpelo is a remote, barren rock island 500km off the coast of Colombia. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site and a true shark mecca. Divers come here for the enormous schools of hammerhead sharks and the famous 'monster' aggregations of silky sharks.
Features
A desolate rock island surrounded by smaller pinnacles. This is a cleaning station for hundreds, sometimes thousands, of scalloped hammerheads. The site is also famous for huge schools of silky sharks that can block out the sun.
