Mirror Pond is another unique site in the Russell Islands. The dive involves swimming through a short tunnel that leads to a small, enclosed pond in the jungle where the water is often mirror-calm. A resident (but shy) saltwater crocodile sometimes makes an appearance.

Features

Divers enter a cave system that leads to a small, isolated pond in the middle of the jungle. The surface of the pond can be as smooth as a mirror. The site is also famous for a resident saltwater crocodile, which is sometimes seen.
