Punta Vicente Roca on Isabela Island is a cold-water dive site where deep ocean upwellings bring incredible nutrients to the surface. This attracts a huge amount of life, including mola mola, penguins feeding underwater, and vast schools of fish.
Features
A cold-water site at the base of a tuff cone volcano. Deep upwellings make this a nutrient-rich area. It is one of the best places in the Galapagos to see Mola mola (ocean sunfish). Penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas are also common.
