Rabaul has a massive natural harbor that was a major Japanese naval base in WWII, and it is now filled with wrecks. The volcanic landscape creates excellent muck diving, and the outer reefs are pristine and healthy.

Features

A huge volcanic caldera that is a graveyard for dozens of Japanese WWII shipwrecks. The volcanic sand also provides excellent muck diving opportunities. The outer reefs feature beautiful walls and pinnacles.
