Shambaia is a large reef that is one of the best places in Sudan to see manta rays. A cleaning station on the reef's plateau offers reliable encounters with these graceful giants, and the deep walls attract other pelagic species.

A large reef with a known manta ray cleaning station. During the right season, divers have a very high chance of seeing manta rays here. The outer walls of the reef are also great for spotting sharks and other large fish.
