Silfra offers a diving experience you can't get anywhere else on Earth: swimming between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. The water is glacial melt filtered through volcanic rock for decades, resulting in over 100 meters of visibility.
Features
A fissure between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, filled with pure, cold glacial water. There is no marine life, the attraction is the geology and the incredible 100m+ (330ft+) visibility. Requires drysuit certification.
