The SS Turkia is a remarkably intact cargo ship that sank in 1941. It sits perfectly upright in the Gulf of Suez and is full of fascinating cargo, including cars, explosives, and tires. A fantastic but remote wreck for advanced divers.
Features
A 90m long cargo ship sitting upright and in excellent condition. The holds are full of well-preserved cargo from WWII. It's a remote wreck, usually visited on special liveaboard itineraries, but is considered one of the Red Sea's best.
