The Stella Maru is a former Japanese fishing trawler that was scuttled in 1987. It sits upright in relatively shallow water, making it a very accessible and popular wreck dive. It's now a well-established artificial reef.
Features
A 44m long Japanese trawler that sits upright on a sandy bottom. The wreck is fully colonized by coral and is home to a huge variety of marine life, including large groupers, moray eels, and stonefish. A great introductory wreck dive.
