The island of Ustica is Italy's first marine reserve and offers some of the best diving in the Mediterranean. The protected waters are incredibly clear and are home to massive schools of barracuda, large dusky groupers, and numerous underwater caves.

A volcanic island that is a highly protected marine reserve. The diving is characterized by clear water, dramatic underwater topography, and a very high density of fish life. Huge schools of barracuda are a signature sight.
