The Blackett Strait is historically famous as the location where John F. Kennedy's PT-109 patrol boat was sunk. The strait itself offers excellent muck diving on its dark sand slopes, with a chance to find historical artifacts.

A historically significant channel. While the PT-109 wreck has not been definitively found, the area offers fantastic muck diving. Divers can search for historical artifacts while hunting for rare macro critters on the sandy bottom.
