Bonegi I and II are two large Japanese freighter wrecks that were beached during WWII near Honiara. They are now fantastic and very accessible shore dives, with parts of the wrecks even breaking the surface. They are covered in coral and teeming with life.

Features

Two large Japanese transport ships from WWII that are very easy to access from the shore. The wrecks start in very shallow water, making them suitable for snorkelers as well as divers. They are now beautiful artificial reefs.
