Cabo Pulmo National Park is one of the world's most outstanding examples of marine conservation. Once overfished, it's now a thriving marine park famous for the gigantic 'tornado' of thousands of jacks, as well as resident bull sharks and huge groupers.

Features

A highly successful marine reserve. The main feature is the massive school of big-eyed jacks that forms a swirling vortex. The oldest and largest coral reef in the Sea of Cortez is here, attracting bull sharks, groupers, and sea turtles.
