The waters around the Gallipoli peninsula are a graveyard of ships from the famous WWI campaign. Numerous British and French warships lie on the seabed, offering a huge variety of historical wreck diving in the current-swept Dardanelles strait.

A historical dive area with numerous shipwrecks from the 1915 Gallipoli Campaign. The sites are considered war graves and must be dived with respect. The currents in the strait can be very strong.
