Gato Island is a protected sea snake and marine reserve near Malapascua. It offers a huge variety of diving, from swim-throughs and caves (including one where whitetip sharks rest) to fantastic macro sites for frogfish and seahorses.
Features
A marine reserve with a high population of banded sea kraits. The island features a tunnel that goes all the way through it, and a 'shark cave' where whitetip reef sharks are often found sleeping. Excellent macro life is also present.
