Features

Los Islotes is one of the most iconic and beloved dive sites in Baja California Sur — a protected marine sanctuary known for its thriving colony of curious California sea lions. As soon as you descend, you’re greeted by crystal-blue water, swirling schools of tropical fish, and the distinctive barks echoing from the rocky islets above. The real highlight, however, is the sea lions themselves. Juveniles often glide gracefully around divers, blowing bubbles and performing playful underwater spins. The site features shallow depths, excellent light penetration, and healthy coral and sponge growth that make it an ideal spot for photography. Friendly encounters, consistently good visibility, and calm conditions make Los Islotes a must-dive site for all experience levels.
