Point Lobos State Natural Reserve is often called the 'crown jewel' of the state park system. The diving here, particularly in Bluefish Cove and Whalers Cove, is on some of the most pristine and beautiful kelp forests in the world.
Features
A highly protected state reserve with limited diver access. The dive sites feature incredibly dense and healthy kelp forests, dramatic pinnacles, and a very high diversity of marine life. Sea otter sightings are very common.
