The Salvatierra was a large ferry that sank after hitting a reef. It's now a fantastic and very popular artificial reef, lying in relatively shallow water and attracting a huge amount of marine life, including large schools of fish and sea lions.
Features
A 100m (330ft) long ferry that is now a thriving artificial reef. The wreck is broken up but is covered in black coral and is home to a massive amount of fish. Playful sea lions from nearby Los Islotes are frequent visitors.
