Halg Salmaan is a beautiful, beginner-friendly dive and snorkel site located in the Marsa Alam region of Egypt. Also known as "Salmaan’s Throat," it features a deep v-shaped sandy inlet surrounded by vibrant, hard coral reef walls. It is famous for its rich marine biodiversity, including eagle rays, scorpionfish, and occasional spinner dolphin pods in the nearby lagoon.

Divers frequently spot scorpionfish, fire corals, blue-spotted rays, octopus, and large snappers. The sandbars are also popular hunting grounds for rays.
