Ribbon Reef #3 is known for its beautiful underwater pinnacles, such as 'The Clam Garden' and 'Steve's Bommie'. It's a fantastic area for both wide-angle and macro photography, and a hotspot for minke whale encounters in winter.

The Ribbon Reefs are a long chain of individual reefs on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. They are known for their pristine condition, excellent visibility, and famous sites like the Cod Hole. They are also a hotspot for seasonal encounters with dwarf minke whales.

Often cited as Thailand's best dive site, Richelieu Rock is a submerged pinnacle in the Andaman Sea. It's famous for its vibrant purple soft corals and as a feeding ground for whale sharks during the season.

Rikoriko Cave is one of the largest sea caves in the world by volume. Diving here is a unique experience, exploring the vast, cathedral-like space. The entrance is huge, allowing plenty of light to filter into the cavern.

The Rio de Janeiro Maru was a large passenger liner converted to a submarine tender. The wreck lies on its side and offers fantastic penetration, particularly into the huge and impressive engine room, where you can also find hundreds of sake and beer bottles.

Roca Partida is the smallest and most remote of the Socorro Islands, a solitary pinnacle rising from the deep ocean. It's a magnet for pelagic life, with schools of sharks, massive tunas, and jacks constantly circling the rock. A true blue-water adventure.
