The Antilla is a German freighter that was scuttled at the start of WWII. At 400 feet long, it's one of the largest shipwrecks in the Caribbean. It lies in relatively shallow water, making it a spectacular and accessible dive for all levels.

Aow Leuk is a beautiful, sheltered bay with a white sandy beach. The shallow reef on both sides of the bay is perfect for beginner divers and snorkelers, and the sandy bottom is a nursery for juvenile blacktip reef sharks.

Apo 29 is a deep, submerged pinnacle near Apo Reef, for advanced divers only. Its exposed location and strong currents make it a magnet for large pelagic life, including large schools of reef sharks and sometimes hammerheads.

Apolima is a small island in the strait between Samoa's two main islands. The diving here features beautiful, uncrowded walls with very healthy hard coral coverage and a good chance to see larger fish in the clear blue water.

Aquarium is a very easy and popular dive site in the Seychelles, living up to its name with a huge density and variety of colorful reef fish. The calm conditions make it a perfect spot for beginner divers and photographers.

The jetty of the small, picturesque Arborek village has become a famous dive site. The pier pillars are covered in soft corals and act as a magnet for massive schools of fish, particularly silversides. It's also a great spot for macro life and night dives.

Arco Point is an easy and fun dive site named for a vertical swim-through, or chimney, that starts at 18 meters and exits at 9 meters. The site is also known for its high population of banded sea kraits.

The Astron was a massive Russian freighter that ran aground during a storm. The wreck is now broken into several pieces in shallow water, with the stern and propellers being the most interesting part. It's a huge and impressive sight.
🇲🇾Malaysia
Aur Island is part of the Johor Marine Park and is known for its excellent visibility and dramatic underwater topography, including several submerged pinnacles. Its location further offshore means a better chance of encounters with larger pelagic species.
🇧🇸Bahamas
The Austin Smith was a former Bahamian naval vessel that was intentionally sunk in the Exumas. It's a fantastic artificial reef, sitting upright and attracting a huge amount of marine life, including a healthy population of reef sharks.

Avalon is a beautiful and fishy reef dive in the Jardines de la Reina. Like many sites in the park, it's known for its very healthy coral, large, friendly groupers, and a high number of curious Caribbean reef sharks.

Avatoru Pass is the second, wider pass in Rangiroa. While Tiputa is famous for grey reef sharks, Avatoru is the go-to spot for seeing silvertip sharks. It also offers a great chance to see manta rays on an outgoing tide.

The remote Azores archipelago is one of the world's premier destinations for big animal encounters. The deep, nutrient-rich waters attract a huge variety of pelagic life, including blue sharks, mako sharks, manta rays, and numerous species of whales.

This B-17 Flying Fortress is a spectacular and remarkably well-preserved aircraft wreck. It sits upright on a sandy bottom, with its cockpit, wings, and gun turrets still intact. A fantastic and poignant dive for advanced divers.

In the calm waters of the Togean Islands lies the remarkably intact wreck of a WWII B24 Liberator bomber. The plane sits upright on a sandy bottom, offering a fascinating historical dive and a great photo opportunity.

Babylon is a spectacular pinnacle and wall dive on Grand Cayman's North Wall. The pinnacle is separated from the main wall by a deep canyon and is covered in beautiful black coral and giant barrel sponges.

Bahia de Jurel ('Mackerel Bay') is a sheltered bay that is home to a massive, resident school of Juan Fernández mackerel. It's an easy and spectacular dive, allowing you to be completely surrounded by a swirling vortex of thousands of fish.

Bahura is another excellent muck and macro site along the Dauin coast. The sandy slope here is dotted with small coral heads and artificial reef structures, providing a great habitat for frogfish, ghost pipefish, and other rare critters.

The Baiae Archaeological Park is a unique dive into history. This ancient Roman city was submerged due to volcanic activity, and divers can now explore the remarkably well-preserved villas, complete with mosaic floors and marble statues.

Baird Bay offers a unique and magical wildlife experience: swimming with both Australian sea lions and bottlenose dolphins on the same tour. This is a shallow, snorkel-only interaction in a protected bay with very friendly and playful animals.

The baited shark dive at Protea Banks is a high-adrenaline, mid-water experience. Divers drift in the blue as a bait drum attracts numerous sharks, including oceanic blacktips, bull sharks, and often the magnificent tiger shark.
