Passava's Passage is a channel dive in the Great Astrolabe Reef that offers a fantastic drift dive. The currents bring in schools of fish, and it's a great place to see eagle rays gracefully gliding past the healthy coral reef.

Ped is another excellent drift dive along the north coast of Nusa Penida. The current carries divers along a healthy, sloping reef where hard corals dominate. It's a great all-around site, perfect for spotting turtles, sea snakes, and large schools of fish.

The Pedernales was an oil tanker that was torpedoed by a German U-boat in WWII. The central section of the ship was removed, but the bow and stern sections were left and are now a popular shallow dive site, scattered over a wide area.
